So I have antivirus plus on my computer (it keeps popping up and I can not get rid of it). When I click internet explorer it says can not display webpage, when I click AOL it says snmaster.idx file is missing, I have no way to get online and my connection is good with comcast. Please help I do not know what to do.

If you have no anti-virus and no anti-spyware get some. I recommend Avira (Avira AntiVir Personal - FREE Antivirus) for free anti-virus, and Malwarebytes (Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Free Download and Reviews - Fileforum) for free anti-spyware.

You can download these from another computer to a flash drive or burn to a disc then install them on the computer that is not functioning. I would rename the install files to something random so just in case the malware on your computer kill the installers, at least they probably won't be able to recognize it if you name them something else.

During the install of most anti-virus, it will give you an option to perform a scan upon reboot. Choose this option as it has the best chance to remove more.

Once you've done some scans, please run Hijack This (http://free.antivirus.com/hijackthis/) and post the resulting log.
