I am a vietnamese foreign student,I can not afford to pay the school for the high tuition;but I want to stay because I have a boy friend he promise to marry me(he has US citizen) can I stay in US if I ge married with him? May immigartion status are out since I did not attend the school lately.The school send me and e-mail require me to go back to re-register and will not release my school record even though another school with cheaper tuition accepted me. To answer your question directly, yes, if you marry, your USC husband can petition for you, but you should only file if it is a bona fide marriage, and not only for an immigration benefit.
