    Is she having second thoughts?
My ex and I started talking again, usually we would speak for about 20 minutes but the last time be spoke for hours. We talked about how bad our relationship was and all the crazy things we did. Is she thinking of giving it another try?

    Who knows?

It can be just talk with a familiar voice. A more receptive moment.

As far as giving it another try goes... well, the first step toward another try should be evaluating the relationship, what went wrong, etc.

But that's really just an important step toward healing, toward forgiveness... which might play into seeking another try or it might just be a healthy part of moving on.

I've had similar discussions with my ex... pleasant discussions where we shook our heads at the things we did... and even a bit of sadness about what could have been. But in our case, it really isn't about getting together again... its about healing.

And that isn't a bad thing to aim for... you just shouldn't piggyback any expectation of "another shot" onto the situation... maybe it could happen if you can figure out how things might be different... but that shouldn't be the focus...

No idea, maybe you should ask her. Personally I'm not sure why you broke NC to begin with

    How old are you?

    How long was the relationship?

    Why did you break up?

How long ago did you break up?

    Important factors to consider.

Who knows what she's thinking. Just remember that she is your ex for a reason!

I'm 19 and she's 18. We were on and off for 2 years. It has been over a year since the breakup. She broke up with me because I wasn't a good boyfriend.

Can you go into more details about what made you a bad boyfriend?

I never used to spend as much time with her as I should have and we used to argue a lot mostly over nothing

So what has changed? Or is this more of the same on/off, as before?
