I think this movie is only a few years old. Big shot broker, gets taken down for dealing with the mob. Family gets attacked, so everyone goes in witness protection--except the oldest daughter. Later, when her father disappears, she tracks down mom and sibs. Turns out, father isn't her father. He is a crime lord/drug lord from south america, looking for his brother who has been testifying against the family and is the girl's real father. They are using the daughter as bait to bring out the old man. Shoot out in a hospital in the end. Any ideas?

I don't remember watching anything like this, any names of characters you remember or maybe an actor?

Nope, not that one. I think this movie is more recent. The heroine is a pretty smart gal, 20 something. She manages to find her mom and sibs who are in WP. Her "father," the fake one, is pretty vicious. He gets the same control officer as his brother, then kidnaps and tortures her to find the whereabouts of his brother. Wish I could remember someone from the film. The man who plays the "father" reminds me of James Gandolfini, but it wasn't him.
