    Hmm... 24 menopause?
A lot lately I have been having hotflashes and even night sweats but I'm only 24. I didn't have a period for almost 6 months still I started talking birthcontrol, which I did start my period. But it seems like hot flashes and night sweats happen a lot more now. I am over weight and I do take blood pressure meds but that wouldn't cause hot flashes? Could this have anything to do with menopause at 24?

People who are over wieght tend to be hotter and sweat easier, this is a fact! As far as no periods for 6. You need to get this checked out throughouly to rule out any kind of illnesses or diseases that could have caused that. Stress, foods, and hormonel imbalances could cause this to happen.

Before, throughout and abit after my period I get flustered and hot flashes! Im only 27. It runs in my family too.

Now not having a period for 6 months is odd. Stress could be a main factor to this. Also are you taking your birth control pills correctly? Such as having a week off the pill each month?

If so I think its wise you go visit your gynea.

The hot flashes and night sweats could indeed be attributed to your weight as Joe said. However, they could also be a symptom of the blood pressure meds.

As for your period, you need to go to your doctor and have a metabolic panel done. You should make an appointment with your gynocologist as soon as possible to have your hormone levels checked also.
