Format or sample of painting job proposal or qoutation.
Hi, alvin5788!
I usually do mine in a Microsoft Word or Excel format. How much experience have you already had painting for others in order to make a profit for yourself, please?
I'll be glad to help you with questions that you might have. I've been doing painting for others since about 1972.
Thanks!

First of all, you need to do an estimate, if you haven't already. Figure all the square footage and multiply that by the amount you will charge per square foot. Add the cost of paint and supplies. When writing out a proposal, all you are doing is putting in writing what work you are proposing to do, the amount you will do it for, any promises or guarantees (warranties for workmanship), and the length of time you figure it will take to get the job done. Also include your proposed payment schedule and any agreemants thus far between you and the customer. If your proposal is accepted, have the customer sign it as it becomes an agreement or contract for said project.
Most office supply stores sell proposal forms that you can buy which have a canary colored and pink colored copy attached to them, and they indicate at the bottom who keeps which copies. They are easy to use.
