Direct draw doesn't have enuff memory when I go to a certain part of destroyer command and crashes the game p4 2.53ghz 512 ram ati rage 128 16mb graphix which meets min spec??

You may be experiencing a conflict with another program. This can result from a few scenarios:

1. You have another program hogging resources. Shut down startup items and processes that are not needed, add more ram, and/or increase size of paging file.

2. You have a memory allocation conflict. You can try the same things above, but that may not help. Sometimes uninstalling and reinstalling will do the trick.

3. The min specs were lying. Sometimes the min specs will only tell you that the game will run only if your computer is also running optimally. Also this does not guarantee smoothness.

What is the exact error message - does it want system memory of video card memory? Also, Wikipedia: Destroyer Command indicates the game was buggy. Have you installed all available patches and the latest video card drivers?
