May I suggest you open an account with FBI national bank. They can convert for you.

I may do just that. Thank you for the suggestion.

You know, I seem to have forgotten how to go about doing so.

A phone call is usually all you need to do. They'll handle the rest. They're in the Government listings.

Oh Hheath, just the other day my long lost relative passed away and his solicitor emailed me to tell me that I had inherited his fortune as there were no other living relatives! All I needed to do was fax a copy of my birth certificate and drivers license to some un known address in South America, and I would be sent a cheque, but I also needed to cover the fee’s and additional costs which were only about $2,000. But seeing as I was inheriting almost 500,000.000.00 that was pocket change! Plus I would get a receipt for tax purposes!

You were my 100th greenie :D

Anyway, I did call the police, who told me to ignore it when I got those emails, as they had no way to trace them and it was too expensive and too time consuming. I was really frustrated I had received 50 emails from this one person in one day. He kept sending me new email addresses, and gave me some story about how kids had threatened him and his pregnant wife, and due to his job he needs to change his e mail and phone number constantly because of the people he puts in jail... I called (what I think was) the FBI in the States, and they told me to contact my local police. I thought there was a general number to report fraudulent e -mails and scams and such?

Gee, since I switch internet providers from AOL to someone else I'm no longer receiving emails telling me that my long lost relative just dropped dead and left me a bazillion dollars and all I have to do is send them my check for $10,000 to collect my inheritance.

Gosh, I miss knowing all those relatives dropping dead and willing me their fortunes..!

Well I'll forward you mine :p
Just kidding, I would never do that. It's crazy the people that fall for these scams
I almost feel bad, because some of them are so convincing. (obviously not the ones about your long lost relatives dropping dead). I got one from "my bank" and it said something was wrong with my account, and they needed my info.

I get at least one a week from a bank I haven't patronized in 10 years!
