    and show that f'(x)=0 at some point between the two intercepts

    1. Find the two intercepts.
    2. Find f'(x).
    3. Solve for f'(x)=0
    4. If the x coordinate of what you solved for f'(x) is between the two intercepts, then you have your proof.
