    Possible ignitor problem
My York Gas Heater Won't Fire Up!! After Accessing Panel To Gas Components I Heard Rapid Ticking... ignitors I Suspect. But No Flame! Do I Have A Ignitor Problem?

Hard to say without hearing it. Could be the pilot is dirty or the pilot valve didn't open. The high tension spark lead may be shorting somewhere besides the pilot, etc.

As you hear the ticking for the spark ignitor try to light the pilot with a fireplace lighter or something similar just to make sure that you are getting gas to the pilot. If it lights then you need to work on the sparker so that it will arc across the area where the gas is coming out of the pilot. Or like Northern Heat said it could be sparking somewhere along it length. See if you can see the arc as it sparks.
