    Parasites under skin/live in plasma
In the past year or more, I am not imagining this; however, I have noticed on the top of my thigh in the front above the knee a two adjoined circles, one above the other with a centre oval ring in each, above these a smaller circle (like a head) with two dots about an inch apart - Looks like an aerobic like parasite living in plasma. On the same leg (R) below the knee on the side calf is a jagged-edged circular formation. Can you maybe expain this. My doctor prescribed 'metranidozol' as he believe there was something present. Confusing but not crazy. Thank-you.

Metranidozol is an antibiotic recommended to kill anaerobic bacteria that liv e in environments in which there is little oxygen normally in an area like an abdomen. It would be very rare for this type of bacteria to manifest itself on the skin surface, so I can't imagine what you are seeing, unless they are just marks on your skin.

One would have to see them first hand to form an opinion.
