My future ex wife signed up for a credit card using my name shortly before I trained and deployed to Iraq in 2004. I knew nothing about it. I usually work out of state and my mail goes to my house. So I never saw any statements. I was served papers saying I was being sued for 19,326.00 . I replied that I knew nothing about it and had never signed up for nor used this card. What can I do?

What she did is fraud,if she signed your name and racked up a bunch of charges then she can be criminaly charged. You would have to file a police report
