How to remove an adult child from the home
We have a twenty year old son, that goes off with his temper, hits family members, breaks things, makes demands for things he wants, doesn't keep a job. He has broken so many things in our house it would take $2,000.00 to fix everything. When he was a minor he was in the JDT twice for violence against his siblings. He should take medicine for his anger problem. He has made our house a living hell. I don't want a felony charge on him, I just want him to go his own way and live his life somewhere else. He threatens to kill us and/or burn our house down if we evict him. Any ideas. My husband has MS is bedridden and I lost my job. Legal help I can't afford.
    Fed Up In Uniontown.

Call the police and report the threats. Then file to have him evicted from the house.

I'm assuming Pennsylvania due to the last line.

Problem is getting him to want to leave on his own. With the threats he has made and the actions he has done... you may want to reconsider charges. He may actually do far worse at some point. If you evict him or not.

Hopefully someone can come up with a better idea than what I'm thinking of. Because nobody should have to live with this much less from family.
