Married couple file Federal jointly. I work in our home state, he doesn't. We file non-resident State Tax return under his name only. Should I file home state return separately also, or must we file jointly?
    Thanks for any advise!

If he lives in the home state and commutes to his work state, then he files as non-resident in the work state and you both file as MFJ for your home state. On your home state return you will have to report all joint income, but you get a credit for taxes paid to other jurisdictions, which in this case means taxes he has had to pay to his work state.
