Hi,
I just purchased an exhaust fan to be installed in my bathroom. There is a light switch in the bathroom which operates the light fixture. I also purchased a dual switch to turn on and off the light and the fan seperatly. Can you tell me how to wire the dual switch correctly. Thanks

Existing light or is there a new light on the new fan? If you are talking about the old light that side of the wiring will be easy buthow to you plan to run new cable to the fan, do you have the wall open, is the attic open to the ceiling?
