    Low water pressure in faucet
My kitchen faucet has low water pressure until I press the sprayer button. Then pressure is normal until next use. All other faucets are normal. Why and hod do I fix it?

    Thanks,
    Don

    Hello Don,
I play the role of plumber every so often. He is a possible solution you yourself can try that may just be the right answer. My guess is there is something glogging the faucet screen where the water comes out. Basically try using adjustible pliers to unscrew the screen. Turn clockwise direction to loosen. Remove and look inside the screen. Remember to close/cap your drain so that this small washer size screen par does not fall into the drain. Sometimes foreign material makes it way to the screen. Good luck.

Have you done any plumbing in the house lately, if you have may be there is debris in your faucet? remove the Aerator as More2burn suggested turn on the water and check the flow if good flow clean the Aerator screen and install, if the flow is still low come back and some one of us will help you, see the image for the Aerator, Thanks.

As always: nice visual, John. Wanted to give you positive feedback but the system did not allow me to.

All is clean. The flow has something to do with the sprayer. When I turn the faucet on I get a miniscul stream. If I press the sprayer on and then off I gett a normal flow.

Then, it may be the diverter inside the faucet column. That's what switches water from faucet to sprayer. You have to take the faucet apart and clean the diverter.
