Connecting to the internet
Hi, I am with bt broadband internet, with a router in my house connected to 3 laptops with a wire connection. My internet was set up in July and has been working fine up until yesterday when it suddenly stopped. None of us can get online. It is saying limited or no internet activity, and apparently the problem is that I need to renew my IP address. According to BT helpline, who have been no help at all, I should be given an IP address automatically and shouldn't need to renew it. I don't understand how my internet was working perfectly fine one moment and now its not. Please can someone help as I am at a v important stage at uni and need to get online all the time.
