Kind of a dumb question but... I'm going to be finishing my basement with drywall. Currently, there is paneling attached to furring strips nailed into the concrete walls. I was just wondering what to do with all the paneling once it's down? Can I just throw it out with the regular trash? If it's possible, I'd like to recycle it somehow.

See if there's a freecycle network in your area. You could also put an add the paper to give it away, or sell it cheaply.
