Free government grant for ex felon
Would like to know if its possible for an ex felon to receive a free government grant, and if so how do I go about doing this

A grant for what, and what was the felony for.
School grants often yes except for some drug crimes

State or local grants to help in buying a home

    Hi, keyla76!

Once a person has "done their time" and paid their "dues" to society, they're free to apply for loans, grants and scholarships just like anyone else.

To my knowledge, there aren't any grants available, just because someone has been convicted of a felony.

As has already been mentioned, for what purpose are you needing the money, please?

    Thanks!

    Hello k:

Your felony doesn't particularly disqualify you from getting a grant. But, it also doesn't qualify you for one.
