    Pregnancy Complications and C-Section
My first child, I had to have an Emergency C-section because I had had a seizure and passed out in the shower at 35 weeks and 6 days. They diagnosed me with Preeclamsyia and I had to stay in the hospital almost a week because they couldn't get my blood pressure down.
Now I'm 37 Weeks pregnant, tomorrow, and I've been in the ER at least 4 times in 2 weeks with Labor and then False Labor. The first time I went in, they had to stop the labor and the next few times they kept telling me it wal false labor but I was Dialated 1cm. I 've been having apparent false labor for over a week and yet, I've had so much pressure below that I get light headed and I can't sleep because it hurts to lay down and if I close my eyes the room spins and I get nauseated... What should I do?

You can take Tylenol and warm baths. Any kind of Tylenol is okay. If you can't sleep you can take Tylenol PM or Benadryl. That is, of course, if this pregnancy is going well.

Have they not scheduled your C-Section yet?

Yes, It's the 29th of this month but, everything is hurting like you wouldn't believe... sometimes I just cry because it hurts and I don't want to go in because they keep sending me home.

I understand your pain. I am a nurse. I'm sorry they keep sending you home, but as a nurse I would rather send a patient home a thousand times than have her deliver in the car on the way to the hospital because she was afraid she was going to be sent home again.

Now, can you describe your pain in detail to me? I might be able to help better that way.

Well, my belly dropped really low overnight last night. I woke up this morning and my belly sticks out from under my maternity shirts. The pain itself is like a period cramp almost except it goes all the way from my lower back to the front and it just aches and hurts... It's also a lot of pressure on my lower extremeties; I feel like I'm going to fall forward and sometimes I get really sick to my stomach when I try to sleep.. I've trained myself to sleep on my left side but, I have to almost sieep sitting up because I can't breathe laying down... When I walk around I feel like I've climbed mt. mother just by walking to my bathroom just outside my bedroom door.. it's maybe 6 feet to get there? If that...

I mean no ill harm, but you are experiencing pregnancy pains. The second pregnancy is worse than the first, the third is worse than the second and so on.

Do you know how to time contractions?

My husband and I both do... He's started having dreams now that my water breaks in bed... hahaha... I think he's just as nervous as I am..
