What can I do if my motion for installment payments is objected?
About 4 years ago I lost my job. I continued to keep up with my credit cards for almost a year after that until it got to be too much. I was going to file for bankruptcy but the lawyer told me I didn't make enough so he suggested to just not pay so I didn't. I've been dodging my creditors all this time until recently I received a writ for garnishment. I only work part-time and my husband is a stay-at-home dad for our 2 toddlers, I'm the only one working right now. I filed a motion for installment payments and just got a letter today saying that they are objecting it. (owe $1000 pymt $25 mth) What do I do now? I'd really like to file for bankruptcy, what should I do?

I don't understand what you mean when you say your attorney said you didn't make enough. I understand about the hard times trust me everyone is having them but dodgeing the creditors was the worst thing to do. Did you talk to them? Did you receive a paper that you were being sued? The only way for them to garnish your check or bank account is through a court order and for that to
Happen there has to be a judgement against you. Try talking to another lawyer about bk and see what he/she says.
