Just put something over it, or turn it around. Some software can sometimes be installed to run in the background and still monitor it. It all depends on the level of security there. So I would just turn it around. If it's a laptop, usually there's an indicator light.

Well, it all depends on the program watching the camera, because some can keep the device active. It is probably best to just block the camera's view of anything rather than mess with a computer you don't own. You could always unplug the camera if it's not built in (like in laptops).

I would recommend reading over your posts before making them. It helps to prevent from having to go back and edit your posts each time you make them. Things don't exactly move fast in most online forums, so you don't have to worry about getting your post out there right away.
