When turning on the shower in my bathroom it works fine in the cold area, but as you are turning the nob to the hot water the shower turns off, and this a shower not a shower/bath combo. What can I do to fix this problem?

Need some more info.
1. Did this just happen?
2. Any plumbing work done in the house lately?
3. How is hot water in other fixtures?
4. Can you tell us the brand and the model number of your faucet?
