    My daugthers father hasn't seen her in over 7yrs, Is this abandonment ?
    My daughters father hasn't seen her in over 7yrs, is this abandonment and does he still have custody rights?
    All so when she was a little over 1yr old I have to put a strining order on him for beating on both of us, I also I have been married to a good man for 6yrs that has been taking good care of us and I have 2 children by him!

    Depends on whether he pays child support or not.He has rights until the court says another.
