I filed my federal taxes mid jan along with a w7 for my husband. He got his itin weeks ago but the IRS says they can't see where I filed my taxes.

Returns will W-7 are normally sent to ITIN Operation, Austin. After allotting ITIN, your return is forwarded to your tax return office.
Call IRS again.

I just called them last night @ 2100 hrs and they said they have no record. They also don't seem to know much obout the procedure because 1 person said add aqn additional 6 to 8 weeks from the date we received his ITIN # and another one said call again Monday and if they still don't have anything to refile using his ITIN # and to put " DO NOT DUPLICATE RETURN" and to refile it electronically. If I refile it electronically how do I put do not duplicate on it.
