I also have a couple of Shebala's bolo ties, he is not easy to find info. On. I made a trip to the Zuni reservation a couple of years ago & managed to find one of his nieces, and she was not very interested in talking. The only info I got from her is that he is dead. A few miles off the res. I stopped at a trading post, the owner recognized the bolo I was wearing, he was more forthcoming. Evidently Shebala liked his liquid spirits and was found frozen to death in a cave on the reservation. I have looked for many years and found few that have even heard of him and I have not found other examples of his work. If you would like to contact me maybe exchange photos & info. ssilver, not a good idea to display your e mail address on an international site. You may get some unwanted displays and spam not to your liking.
