    Unorthodox waste and overflow
Im trying to replace a waste and overflow in my old apartment tub. Can't find a W&O with the p-trap connection directly below the drain of the tub.. Do they still make this type of drain. I can not use a conventional W&O because of the floor and wall construction.. it would need major reframing...

    Hi Culocleaner...

You are having trouble finding an overflow with a ptrap simply because tub waste assemblies don't come with a ptrap attached... never have... ;)

You can remove the old tub waste assembly and install a new tub waste assembly and see if it can adapt over to the old trap OR you'll need to cut out the old trap and install a new trap and then install a standard tub waste assembly.

If you can post a well-lighted picture of the tub waste and trap I can tell you even more.

    Back to you...
