Apple Mail fonts are lost by Windows Outlook recipients
I recently moved back to the Macintosh world (iMac) after spending several years living on the dark side. At present I am using Apple Mail 4.2 for my e-mail application. I have set my default font/size in Apple Mail, but the font and size are lost when the e-mails are read by Windows recipients using Outlook. Many of my emails are read by business recipients who use MS Outlook. How do I configure Apple Mail so that Windows Outlook users see the font/size that I intended for them to see?

I see 73 people have looked at my question, but no one has responded. I'm going to take that as and answer that no one has a work around and the problem hasn't been addressed.

Type your email in your signature block, and ensure you signature uses the fonts you want. Google it for more details on this solution.

Just go here: http://www.screencast.com/users/druidb/folders/Jing/media/c1ff4ade-ed3a-4cd3-98c6-bc1a9bc8f609 and follow the instructions. It's the same solution that blineham suggests. It's not an elegant solution but it is the only one I have been able to find. It is a very annoying problem with Mac - Windows interface. I work in a mostly Windows Outlook business and little things like this are a pain, prompting the always annoying question, "Why don't you just use Windows?".
