    Probation state to state
Well here's my first post. So I am currently in my second year of a 3 year probation sentence. I reside in a different state than the one in which I was convicted originally (given informal/unsupervised probation). What I would like to know is whether an officer would see my probation status immediately if they were to run my ID through their computers; would they have to run a separate check through a different computer system? I have an in-state ID card with nothing tying me to my former home. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, any standard NCIC will show your conviction and probation status.

Thanks for the prompt response! Not the answer I would've liked but oh well, that's life.

    Hello c:

So, instead of moving WITHOUT permission, why don't you just get permission... Then you don't have to worry about getting stopped.
