A 1980's or possibly early 90's movie that had a young boy who somehow ends up on a spaceship with many different cretures. The main alien that I remember has one big eye... I don't remember much else about it other than he goes to some government building. During the movie when the boy flies the space ship, the Beach Boys song, "I Get Around". That seems to be the main clue in my mind... :)
