Yeah... don't do what you aren't supposed to be doing.

    Works every time.

I didn't know what you were talking about the first two times you asked this. I still don't.

I assume s/he is referring to this:
    80 Hour Test for Alcohol

And yes, there's a surefire way to beat the test. Don't drink alcohol and you'll pass with flying colors.

Drink 5 beers. That will do it.

No probably not drinking after 70 hours you'll be OK, it will depend on the kind of test it is.

    Is it pee or blood?
If its pee drink cranberry juice and coffee as much as possible, and don't drink alcohol

    ... what? "Drink 5 beers...don't drink alcohol"

Are you under the impression that drinking cranberry juice and/or coffee will make alcohol not appear in your system?

SURPRISE! Beer has an alcohol content. Anything in quanity used to water down blood (which people think is possible) or urine - water, cranberry juice, anything else - shows up on a lab test.

    Bad advice, indeed.

I was kidding saying drink 5 beers, DUH!

I was also saying that drinking cranberry juice makes you pee more, hence flushing your system out more if it's a pee test.
(plus if he/she can't go 80 hours without drinking, it can't hurt to try drinking extra liquids) lab tests can only detect over dilution if you way over do it, if you drink just a little more then normal they can't detect that, or it will come up inconclusive, (which is way better then failing)

This is a legal board, not a stand up comedy board.

Please keep in mind that the people asking the questions are very, very serious and concerned and flippant answers can confuse and mislead them and, occasionally, cause them MORE legal grief.

This person is definitely a troll handing out this ridiculous advice. This is a legal board and as JKT said not a comedy board. And this person has no indication of having any information whatsoever except he's 19 and was found guilty and hasn't even started doing his probation time yet.

Also, AMHD does not condone trying to "beat" any kind of drug testing whether it be with drinking too much liquid or using an over the counter remedy supposedly to flush out your system. AMHD does encourage the person to stop doing whatever drug they are doing so that they can pass the drug/alcohol test with flying colors.

If they can't go 80 hours without drinking they don't deserve to pass the test. Plain and simple. THey have a problem... and they haven't yet done enough to resolve if they even need to worry about it.

The entire purpose of the test is to ensure they have not been drinking. Which likely is a condition of a reduced sentence of something they committed and were convicted of.

Drink and they violate the terms... If they cared they simply would have avoided alcohol. 80 hours is nothing.

The 80hour alcohol test tests the chemicals in your body that breaks down alcohol so flushing your system doesn't work. I have to take those tests every week too and failed because of nyquil. I don't have a drinking problem but like to have a drink on the weekends and haven't because I looked into the tests and it makes me nervous. The information I have found on it though says it depends per person how long they really can detect the alcohol.
