Mom gave me some of her savings to put in my money market. She's always worrying about me, so when I ran into some financial trouble, I used it without telling her. I didn't want her to worry about me. I never meant to keep it and was going to put it back, with interest, but then lost my job. She found out I'd used it and is so angry, understandably. I don't know how to make this right (besides putting the money back).

How much money?

It was several thousand dollars. Part went to pay mortgage, part to pay HO insurance. It's huge and I know I screwed up really badly.

Of course, she's angry and disappointed! Have you asked her how you can make it right again? (At least you used it for important stuff.)
