After TV gets turned on w/remote it stays on for less than a minute and goes dark w/power / standby indicator flashes Red 6 times and remains this way until power button is pressed again when TV comes on again and stays on for less then half / or a minute and goes dark w/ power indicator light flashes red 6 times again and goes into fault mode.
Need help to identify the cause and fix it.

That model is known for a few common heat issues. You could try replacing the lamp, but there's a good chance that model (according to Sony) has other issues with it. I guess one of the first things to start happening is the lamp access panel warps from heat.
