    Kawasaki spectre.fuel sending unit
I havea 1982 Kawasaki Spectre 750N. I rebuilt the fuel petcock with a kit from cheapcycleparts.com but now the fuel sending unit is leaking, cheapcycleparts does not carry it,any ideas where I can find one? I'm thinking of just bolting a plate over the opening for the sending unit with a gasket and leave it at that. Appreciate any help.

    Here is your unit:
    http://www.bikebandit.com/houseofmot...pectre/o/m9911
After going to this link, select Fuel and Air, then near the bottom of the page is Part Number 27010, Switch, Fuel Level
A leak can be fixed, If sender is accurate, I would fix leak.
If you are a recent Lottery winner, buy a new unit, looks like about $100.

Thanks for the info it was very helpful, but at $100 I think I'll try to fix the leak with some kind of sealer resistant to gasoline, maybe
