    Application Error Message
I am getting an Application Error Message every time the computer first comes on saying "The memory could not be written" - having to do with the "mxtaskz.exe" file.
Does anyone out there know what this message mean?

    Thank you.

"Fix-it" must run at start up. Part of Ontrack's Fix-it Utilities Suite. Loads a System Tray icon that lets you access the full program. Needed if you run the crash guard, intellicluster, anti-virus, or autoupdater. Otherwise not required

If you are getting an error you can shut off the program's startup processes or you can try reinstalling the program.

I am sure that you've installed the Fix-It utilities in your system. In fact this isn't a virus or spyware or etc.. etc.. But a startup application which will be displayed as a Tray Icon on the Taskbar. This problem might happen after the Fix-it utility wasn't un-installed properly or if it's still installed, then some files associated with this application is corrupted. Uninstall the program and reinstall it will definitely fix your problem. Of if you just want to disable it, you can simply do it from the "msconfig". Click Start > Run > type in "msconfig" [without quotes], > Startup > and locate the "mxtaskz.exe" or "mxtaskz" and disable it by un-checking the selected check mark, Save the settings and restart your computer. Your problem be gone forever. But it's important to run as long as the Fix-it utility is running in your computer, so I would suggest you to reinstall the program. If you have problem, let me know with more details so that I can assist you better. Good luck
