I live in Georgia and would like to add someone to the title of my home.

1. Does the home have a mortgage ?
2. If yes, have you gotten their permission to change the deed.

3, next why, are you selling an interest to someone, did you get married or have a life partner you want to add.

Actually, a deed is the instrument by which you change the title to real estate such as houses. One doesn't technically add someone "to a deed", one adds one to the title by writing a new deed.
