I am non resident alien and worked in US from 2008 to 2009. Now I am back in China. For time saving, I asked my hr to scan my W2 and email to me. Now I am wondering if I can print out the W2 form and mail to IRS or I have to use the original one to file my federal tax. Thank you!

If you still have not filed, the scanned version of the W-2 is fine, as long as it is clear and readable.
