I'm looking for a title of a book. I can't remember the author or the names of the characters, but the plot is as follows:

She was best friends with his sister. They end up having sex and she gets pregnant. They get married, but his mom is against the marriage because she's poor and his mom think getting married will ruin his future. She has a miscarriage and his mom and sister make her think that he is cheating on her. Since she thinks he only married her because of the baby, she pushes him away. They divorce and go their separate ways.

Years later, he's renovating a hotel and hires a decorator who ends up being his ex-wife. They fall back in love, but someone doesn't want the hotel to reopen. Weird things keep happening, and even threaten her life. She also finds out that he never cheated on her. His sister, her best friend, lied to her because her mom threatened to sell her horse.
