I have a harbor breeze ceiling fan in my room. Recently the light stopped turning on and off, it is stuck so when I flip the switch that would usually turn the light on all that happens is the ceiling fan turns on. We took the remote and used it for the living room fan and it works just fine and the ceiling fan works to, its just the light that doesn't want to turn on and off. What can I do to try and figure out what is going on??

Yeah the light turns on and off in the living room. It won't even shut the fan off in the room. So the remote works in the living room just fine but when we try to use it in the bedroom it doesn't work at all.
