    Outside water faucet shutoff valve
I just moved and cannot figure out how to shut off the outside water faucets. It's going to be 10 degrees tomorrow night so any help would be appreciated. THX

Some don't need to be. Frost proof ones have a long stem shutting the water off inside the building. Look for a connection to the pipe inside the wall. When you shut one of those off, all the water should drain out of the outside.

Hey, KBurke, I'm in the same spot. I moved on 10/13. We had some really cold weather, I couldn't find a shutoff. I have two outside water faucets. They were both sporting huge icicles for days. I was afraid my pipes would burst but they didn't. It's warmer now and everything seems OK but I'm still nervous. Thinking about calling the previous owners. Did you ever find yours? If not, did your pipes freeze and burst?
