Briggs and stratton 8hp I/c is there any more setting I see another set screw at bottom what would cause the motor to bog out when I give it gas

I have a 8hp briggs and stratton I/c engine and it is on a go cart is there any more setting I should now about other that air mixture screw when I give it gas it stalls at idle it I fine

With out knowing the model and spec.we would have know idea what carb was on this.
