How can I add 2 washing machine drains to my laundry tub drain?
I have a single laundry tub in my basement with 2 washers draining into it. My wife wants to use the laundry tub and have the washers tie into the trap somewhere below the laundry tub and have it all go into the one drain in the floor.

    How can this be done?

What you have now is the best set up for your situation. Tub acts as collection tub. It allows excess water to accumulate in it and drain it slowly at its own pace. These tubs have 1.5" drains. You cannot connect 2 washers into 1.5" drain. 1.5" drain is too small for 2 washers. It will overflow.

If you have 3" pipe in the wall then you could cut into it, install 2 - 3"x2" Ys and bring the pipe to the outside. Install 2 - 2" traps with 30" stand pipes - one for each washer.

I have seen 2 washers draining into one 2" stand pipe and trap with no problem - but only if they don't drain at the same time.

Another option would be to install one 3"x 3" Y with 3" trap and 3" x 30" tall stand pipe. You would drain both washers into this 3" stand pipe.

It can't be done the way you describe. To operate the washer hoses must terminate above the flood rim of the washer. To have it any lower would cause the washer to drain down to that level.
You could follow Milos direction but using the laundry tub for a collection area for both washers sounds like your best bet.
    Good luck, Tom
