Trying to connect Lennox 51M32 thermostat to a Laars EBP-175N-H heating/domestic hot water system to control 1 of 5 in-floor radiant heating zones. Thermostat will replace a programmable unit that I zapped with a static discharge. Thermostat system is 2-wire with red & white leads carrying 24VAC. Voltage checked good at the thermostat location. Connected red wire to thermostat's the "R" connection and the white wire to the "W1" connection. When I plug the thermostat into its terminal strip, it does not power up - totally dead. Lennox dial-up customer service was no help. Told me to call technician which would cost much more than the thermostat is worth. Any ideas?
