l1 visa extension but have H4 visa
I have L1 visa and working here in US which will expire by May 28 2010. But my husband's company processed H4 meanwhile which is effective from Feb 1 2010. Can I still be in L1 visa? If I want ti extend my L1 visa what are the difficulties.

The company could not have changed your status without your signature. You can only be in one status at a time. Confirm with corporate counsel if they filed the I-539 COS for you. If not the L visa is still valid. Please note there is no employment authorized for H-4 dependents.

Thanks for your response. I have H4 approval notice document. Is that mean my I - 539 form is already signed?
