Please note that I do know how to paste in text boxes correctly in charts and that I have plenty of experience in both Excel and Powerpoint, this may be more of a system failure. Basically here's what happens: I have a chart in excel which I have incorporated text boxes that link to other cells. Typically I have been able to simply copy and paste them into Powerpoint. All of a sudden when I do this now the text boxes (or any object pasted correctly into the chart) disappear in Powerpoint if I hit control+v or paste special (Microsoft Office Graphic Object). If I use paste special (enhanced/windows metafile) it shows up, but this grainier looking and not presentable to clients. Thanks for any suggestions!

Downgrade to windows xp, vista is a teribble OS.
