My name is patsy according to my menstral cycle I'm 9 weeks,1 day, I went in for a ultrasound and blood work (I hade a miscarrage 1 month before I got pregnant, the dr was concerned and wanted to just do a check-up) upon ariving my blood was taken and my HCG quant was 69184, but I only have had one test done ( I repeat tomorrow) but the ultrasound dated my pregnancy at: fetus - 6 weeks, sack 8 weeks, and no heartbeat... but the tec had a hard time trying to find anything, I have felt no symptoms at ALL... I may have had a "wonkie" ovulation and my dates may be mixed up, also I delivered with no problems 7 months before I became pregnant, my dr has spoken about a d&c but I'm still worried that it might just be a mistake and they may not have just been able to see the heart, because its too early, do you think personally that a healthy pregnancy is viable ?

The repeat test might help clear the air a bit more.

I want to wish you luck - I've been there and its not only confusing, but a difficult situation. Don't be afraid to ask for a second opinion to ease your mind if your doctor continues to suggest a D&C. I received a second opinion when I was in this situation and it helped me quite a bit.
