My neighbours complained that my dogs were barking when we were out we did'nt know this. We apologized and the dogs have'nt been lrft alone since. The dogs bark when someone comes to the door but it is classed as reactive barking that's what we have them for. They have complained about the garden also the dog poo which is picked up daily, there is a 6ft fence between the houses. They complained about the position of a rabbit hutch that is nowhere near their property. They have complained about my dustbin lid banging and to top it off this weekend about the chimes on a wind up wall clock that has been on the wall for three years but they have said that we have set it to chime at 1am and 3am. They said it does,nt chime at any other time which it chimes on the hour and half hour. I'm at the end of my tether we have done everything they have asked to keep the peace but this is madness I refuse to stop my clock it has'nt bothered them for 3 years why now. I just feel we are being harassed now.

It does sound like they are picking on you. Did you do something to make them mad before they started complaining about everything?

Personally, I would just ignore them. If you are under the city limit for your dogs, and the dogs are kept indoors, there isn't much they can do to you. If they lived next to you for 3 years and nothing has happened, seems like they are just being nit-picky...

Yea, I guess it does sound like harassing, but is there anything else that could be miffed about? Were you guys friends before?

Dogs bark. Period. Tell them to get over it.
