I have had 2 Dwi convictions and need to know how to get a provisional drivers lic. Without using a lawyer. The last conviction was over 3 years ago.

You can write a letter to the court with a copy going to the prosecutor asking for one... But, they ain't going to give it to you. They have NO upside for doing so, but PLENTY of downside... You'll only get it with a good lawyer, if then.

If you mean a 'hardship' license to drive back and forth to work, I don't think you will be able to get one. A provisional lic. forget it. Repeat offenders can lose their license, as I understand it, in some states for up to six years. You can thank Mothers Against Drunk Drivers for that and the more power to them for doing it.

You have two convictions, and it's a wonder you haven't gotten jail time to keep you temporarily off the road.

In Ontario, DWIs who have caused deaths on the road, have theirs suspended indefinitely.
