I tried to recover my 2007 Stimulus Check on my 2008 Tax Return, but it was rejected and my refund was adjusted. How to I recover what is owed to me??

Okay, if it was rejected, it means one of two thing:

1) The check was issued, but you never got it because:

- it got lost in the mail.
- you got the payment as a direct deposit which you did not notice.

OR

2) It got confiscated because you owe back taxes or child support or due to some type of state tax lien.
