Removing excess adhesive from peel and stick tiles
I installed a new floor with peel and stick tiles. There is some excess glue that has seeped from the seems of a few tiles. How do I remove the excess glue from the tile without damaging the finish of the tile?

You can try in a small, out of the way area a product called 'Goof Off',it's a painters product for dried paints and stains, it might be just the trick.

    Otherwise, vinegar,perhaps?

Goof off, goo gone, any of the basic adhesive removers used on a rag and wipes on the tiles, not sprayed on the tiles. Check the instructions carefully, some will tell you a minimum number of days to let pass before cleaning the glue purged to the surface. Armstrong, for example, used to say to let 5 days pass prior to cleaning the floor, don't know if they've changed the time frame since I last did p/s tiles.

Read this days ago and did not answer because I have never seen peel and press with too much glue. Did you add adhesive to the tile or the floor?
